About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our project organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and their technical representatives during project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Planning: Design wind turbine Medium Voltage components, plan communication interfaces, and clarify wind park control concepts at grid connection points.
  2. Technical Requirements: Review and pursue technical requirements for project permitting, liaise with customers, grid operators, and suppliers.
  3. Electrical Tender Documents: Create electrical tender documents and specify project-specific solutions in LV and HV techniques.
  4. Commissioning and Testing: Support commissioning procedures and acceptance tests, provide technical support to the Project Management during the project phase.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work hand in hand with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Service teams, and provide technical support to customers.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor or Master degree in electrical or power engineering or a comparable education including further qualifications.
  2. Project Management Experience: Project management experience necessary, preferably in the wind business.
  3. Customer Care: Experience in customer care to liaise with clients in technical matters.
  4. Language Skills: Very good English skills in writing and speaking, Spanish skills are preferable.
  5. Technical Skills: Experience in measurement and control engineering, knowledge in communication technology, and very good knowledge in executing complex projects.
  6. Software Skills: Very good familiarity with MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  7. Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, process- and solution-oriented, and ability to work with different business cultures.
  8. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel abroad (approx. 30%) – mainly in Europe.
