About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Integration Specialist to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the technical definition and project management activities for several multi-gigawatt PtX projects located in US/Latam.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Renewable Energy Integration: Manage the integration of renewable energy sources, including wind and PV, battery storage, genset backup, and other electrical equipment to achieve electrical off-grid operation.
  2. Hydrogen Generation and Storage: Oversee the generation of hydrogen, nitrogen, and CO2, as well as compression and storage.
  3. Synthesis and Liquid Storage: Manage the synthesis of liquid molecules, including ammonia and methanol, and their storage and handling.
  4. Cooling and Water Systems: Coordinate the design and implementation of cooling plants, water plants, and piping systems for gases, chemical liquids, and water.
  5. Project Adaptation: Adapt each project block to local and country-specific ambient conditions, working with ANGH technology experts and local engineering and EPC companies.
  6. Interfacing with Nordex Resources: Interface with Nordex Wind resources in Sales and PM/EPC for quotations and logistics.
  7. Technical Data and Cost Inputs: Provide technical data and cost inputs for precise modeling of target KPIs, including Levelized Cost of Electricity, Hydrogen, Ammonia, and Methanol.
  8. Review and Proposal: Critically review and propose changes to improve KPIs and provide solutions for easier permitting and refining models.
  9. Coordination with Development Department: Coordinate the preparation of plant design and concept studies with selected engineering firms and provide technical information to the development department.
Requirements
  1. Master's Degree in Engineering
  2. Minimum 8 Years of Professional Experience in technical or project management areas in conventional energy, renewable energy, or chemical engineering.
  3. Professional Experience in Wind Energy, Solar PV, Hydrogen, Ammonia, Methanol, or Other E-Fuels
