About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our project organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and their technical representatives during project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Planning: Design wind turbine Medium Voltage components and plan communication interfaces (I/O, IEC-101, IEC-104).
  2. Project Coordination: Clarify wind park control concepts at grid connection points and review technical requirements for project permitting.
  3. Customer Liaison: Liaise with Customers, Grid Operator, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  4. Tendering and Procurement: Create electrical tender documents and specify project-specific solutions in LV and HV techniques.
  5. Commissioning and Testing: Support commissioning procedures and acceptance tests.
  6. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the Project Management during the project phase.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor or Master degree in electrical or power engineering or a comparable education including further qualifications.
  2. Project Management Experience: Project management experience necessary, preferably in the wind business.
  3. Customer Care: Experience in customer care to liaise with clients in technical matters.
  4. Language Skills: Very good English skills in writing and speaking. Spanish skills are preferable.
  5. Technical Knowledge: Experience in Measurement and control engineering, knowledge in communication technology, and very good knowledge in executing complex projects.
  6. Software Skills: Very good familiarity with MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  7. Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, process- and solution-oriented, and ability to work with different business cultures.
  8. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel abroad (approx. 30%) – mainly in Europe.
