Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Layout Design Engineer to join our team at Monolithic Power Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed analog and mixed signal layouts for our IC products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-speed analog and mixed signal layouts for IC products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain layout design tools and methodologies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in full-custom analog and mixed signal layout design
  • Strong knowledge of Cadence LVS/DRC tools and Cadence Virtuoso XL tools
  • Experience with data management tools in a Unix environment
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed signal circuit design principles
  • Experience with hierarchical planning and integration of high-speed mixed signal ICs
  • Knowledge of device matching, signal shielding, and isolation techniques
