As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the definition, design, validation, verification, and integration of mixed-signal ICs using industry-standard ASIC tools.
Key Responsibilities- Analog and Mixed-Mode Design Verification: Verify analog and mixed-mode designs to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Verification Strategies and Plans: Define and execute mixed-signal verification strategies and plans, including developing test benches and verification components.
- Analog-Digital Interfaces: Define and document analog-digital interfaces to ensure seamless communication between analog and digital components.
- Analog Block Modeling and Analysis: Model analog blocks behaviorally and analyze architectural choices and trade-offs to optimize design performance.
- Design Validation and Verification: Validate and verify analog and mixed-signal designs to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Analog IP Development and Integration: Define, develop, integrate, and verify analog IP to ensure it meets the required specifications and performance standards.
- Layout Design and Simulation: Perform layout design and conduct analog mixed-signal simulations and debugging to ensure the design meets the required specifications and performance standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with analog design, analog layout, digital design, digital verification, and digital physical engineers to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the design process.
- Education and Experience: BSEE/MSEE with 10+ years of experience in mixed-signal ASIC design.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of the full mixed-signal ASIC development and silicon fabrication process, extensive experience in transistor-level and analog/mixed circuit design, understanding of device mismatches, noise, linearity, and other analog effects, proficiency in layout design and best-practice techniques, and experience with simulation tools such as Spectre, HSPICE, and MATLAB.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other teams or departments, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Automotive and ASIL Standards: Knowledge of automotive and ASIL standards is a plus.
