Job Title: Senior Analog Design Engineer

Reports to: Local Site Design Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS). As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing analog and mixed-signal ICs utilizing leading edge sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire product development cycle, from product definition through product release.
  • Work on the full design process from system level down to transistor level, including verification and layout supervision.
  • Assist ATE development with Design-For-Test methods.
  • Oversee and mentor junior designers.

Requirements:

  • BSEE / MSEE with 5+ years of industrial experience in Analog circuit design.
  • Effective communication and written skills in English are a must.
  • Show initiative to communicate with different departments as needed to resolve issues.
  • Understand analog and mixed signal circuits including amplifiers, bandgaps, linear regulators, data converters, etc.
  • Understand analog layout techniques.
  • Understanding of power conversion architectures and its control methods such as buck and boost is a plus.
  • Experience in the design of switching regulators and power stages up to 60V and 15A is a plus.
