Job Summary

Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Transformer Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing service installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work on medium and large power transformers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission medium and large power transformers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Repair and replace faulty equipment, using analytical skills and technical expertise to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Utilize computer software to track site visits, enter data, and process information related to service activities.
  • Participate in technical training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives, ensuring excellent customer service and support.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of transformer theory and operation, with experience in servicing medium and large power transformers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer software and internal/external computer systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Working Environment

As a Senior Power Transformer Service Technician, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support to our customers. You will be required to travel frequently to customer sites, both nationally and internationally, and to work at heights and in confined spaces.
