Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor at Hatch, you will play a crucial role in managing the physical, financial, and contractual aspects of construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Understand the scope of work: comprehend deliverables, execution timelines, pricing structures, formats, and reports.
  • Quantification and Costing: perform quantifications, cost estimation, and price analysis; measure and value work completed on site.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI): evaluate and measure KPIs to ensure project performance.
  • Project Management: manage and report on ongoing work and significant quantity deviations for forecast issuance.
  • Reporting and Communication: write and issue comprehensive reports to clients; serve as a liaison with clients and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, and engineers.
  • Documentation and Validation: perform MTO (Material Take-Off) from IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings for CWP (Construction Work Package); create forms and report formats for materials; validate contractor progress estimates using ROC (Rules of Credit); testify and monitor installed quantities.
Requirements:
  • More than 10 years of experience in a measurement control function, preferably in medium to large multidisciplinary projects in an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) environment.
  • Strong skills in MS Office and experience with estimation tools and systems; knowledge of P6 would be an advantage.
  • Field experience would be an advantage.
