The Opportunity

As a Biomedical/Biotechnology Engineer, you'll provide expert support and advice on the use of Abbott Medical Devices portfolio within the assigned territory in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on medical device products and their appropriate application in hospitals.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area.
  • Resolve common customer problems and respond to unexpected customer requests with a sense of urgency and positive action.
  • Provide technical support to the medical devices salesforce and communicate information with the sales team.
Requirements:
  • B.S degree in Sciences or BS in Medical Engineering (Biomedical Engineer preferred).
  • Ideal experience in electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or an equivalent role within industry.
  • Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures and protocol, and strong cardiac anatomy & physiology knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and active listening skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time and work autonomously.
