Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Management, Demand Specialist to join our Global Integrated Business Process (IBP) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our integrated process plans to achieve business objectives.

About the Role

In this role, you will serve as a business partner with project execution functions, sales, solution development, finance, and human resources in collaboration with our data science and other planning IBP team members. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working with global sales leaders to assess incoming order intake demand, by solution type, identify and mitigate risks with associated skill needs and capacity, and detect areas of constraints or availability.
  • Developing demand forecasts and operational capacity forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation / disaggregation for various time horizons as part of a planning function.
  • Analyzing historical sales, execution trends, and financial projections to provide accurate demand forecasts for both new opportunities and backlog projects.
  • Researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing, and analyzing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Processing project demands through the various tools and data sources to drive a more systematic approach.
  • Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Leading the monthly Demand meeting and participating in the S&OP monthly process.
  • Creating and analyzing monthly KPIs and conducting root cause analyses to come up with actions for improvement.
  • Using and maintaining the Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
  • Collaborating with data science and analytics engineers and operations team members to create advanced business intelligence reports that capture key data points and identify trends as well as inform leadership of key areas of opportunity and challenges.
  • Interface with Product Management and R&D teams to incorporate processes for new products and phasing out old products in support of process excellence and its impact on project execution planning.
  • Working with manufacturing and procurement SIOP leadership to develop plans and solve inputs to supply issues.
  • Preparing and presenting material to regional and global leadership teams and making recommendations based on gathered data and analysis.
  • Working with leaders from various functions on capacities and forecasts, providing the best cost-sourcing solution within the supply network.
  • Initiating and facilitating cross-functional data reviews as necessary to capture critical attributes.
  • Triage data results to identify risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Presenting results and recommended action to leadership for approval.
  • Facilitating and validating forecast load to the ERP system.
  • Communicating forecast execution to key stakeholders.
  • Processing ad-hoc and forecast modifications (scenarios) as needed.
  • Establishing and continuously improving program KPIs.
  • Creating, reviewing, and publishing program reporting.
  • Working with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Identifying, defining, and driving new process improvement opportunities.
  • Working on multiple planning projects independently.
  • Performing analysis of functional global, regional, business unit capacity and project backlog plus new business information and develop objective scenarios by which to meet or exceed project execution.
  • Thoroughly understanding the practices, methodologies and requirements and serve as advisor to all group members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, finance, business, supply chain).
  • More than 5 years of experience related to the responsibilities and/or Business Intelligence.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and networking skills, with proven ability to work successfully in a global team environment across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings and working sessions.
  • Strong technical skills with familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, and Business Intelligence/Reporting environments.
  • Self-starter with a persistent drive to meet short- and long-term goals.
  • Works well in unstructured and evolving work environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and improve cross-functional business processes.
  • Capability to analyze data to identify, articulate, and facilitate resolution of gaps.
  • Ability to navigate matrix organization to drive results.
  • Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel and Power Point is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Agile technique knowledge/experience beneficial but not required.
  • Strong strategic mindset, with critical reasoning and qualitative analysis experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn within a growing & fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding of trade-offs in decision making.
  • Analytical mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability presenting data findings in simple and easy to understand ways.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI and Qlikview preferred).
  • Experience with advanced planning system (Quintiq preferred).
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically (approximately 10%).
  • Written and verbal fluency in English is essential to the role.
