We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hotel's operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Process guest check-ins, verifying identity, payment, and room assignments.
- Set up accurate guest accounts and enter Marriott Rewards information.
- Secure payment and verify billing, ensuring rates match market codes.
- Compile and review daily reports, logs, and contingency lists.
- Complete cashier and closing reports, balancing and dropping receipts.
- Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Obtain manual authorizations and follow accounting procedures.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest reports of theft.
- Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting the team to reach common goals.
- Follow company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
