Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer - Metal Machining Operations to join our team at Otis. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring products from metal machining operations comply with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define qualification requirements for outsourcing and new product introduction projects.
  • Perform audits and assessments in supplier factories and follow up on quality issues.
  • Communicate with external suppliers and internal customers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Travel up to 60% of the time to perform audits and assessments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in quality area, including quality issues resolution.
  • Knowledge of metal raw material and machining operations industry standards.
