Job Title: Revenue Management Specialist

Job Summary:

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and Budgeting:
    • Participate in the development of the hotel's annual budget and business plan.
    • Produce accurate room revenue forecasts for the upcoming 12 months.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts to ensure accurate revenue projections.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze market conditions to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Analyze historical data to inform revenue management decisions.
    • Provide regular market updates to the revenue management team.
  • Strategy Setting and Deployment:
    • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to ensure alignment with revenue management goals.
    • Monitor and adjust revenue management strategies as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Inventory and Rate Management:
    • Manage room inventory to maximize revenue and occupancy.
    • Develop and implement rate strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
    • Monitor and adjust rate strategies as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide regular revenue management reports to the revenue management team and hotel leadership.
    • Analyze revenue management data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Develop and implement reporting tools to support revenue management decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management or a related field.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and revenue management software.
