Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Operations Technician to join our Nordics team based in Madrid. The successful candidate will provide consistent and efficient end-to-end support for online and offline business handled in the UWR Centre, as well as support for language-dependent tasks in branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support rules-based branch activities that require language skills and technical ability.
  • Input relevant information in rating tools, maintaining data quality through accurate input.
  • Operational support for underwriters for online and offline business in the Hub.
  • Manage broker queries in relation to online and offline business and build good working relationships with local brokers.
  • Owning the centralized processes of Operations QA and reporting.
  • To work within the framework of our ethical and service standards.

Requirements

  • Native or advanced level in Swedish and/or Danish.
  • Professional language skills in English.
  • Previous experience in an underwriting support role is a plus.
  • Insurance background is preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office – especially Excel.
  • Strong customer service skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver and improve quality.
  • Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
