About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Underwriting Operations Technician to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Underwriting Operations team, you will play a critical role in providing end-to-end support for online and offline business handled in the UWR Centre, as well as supporting language-dependent tasks in branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Support rules-based branch activities that require language skills and technical ability.
- Input relevant information in rating tools, maintaining data quality through accurate input.
- Operational support for underwriters for online and offline business in the Hub.
- Manage broker queries related to online and offline business and build good working relationships with local brokers.
- Owning centralized processes of Operations QA and reporting.
- Working within the framework of our ethical and service standards.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Native or advanced level in Swedish and/or Danish.
- Professional language skills in English.
- Previous experience in an underwriting support role is a plus.
- Insurance background is preferred.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong customer service skills and customer-centric attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver and improve quality.
- Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
