About this role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Director to join our Global Enterprise Research practice. As a Research Director, you will work closely with C-level executives from multinational companies to identify and produce research that solves complex business challenges on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the scope of research to meet client needs and expectations.
- Identify and execute on product deliverables, including best-practice case studies, issue analysis papers, and benchmarking results.
- Build new content ideas and collaborate with commercial and other team members to drive positive client and business outcomes.
What you will do.
As a Research Director, you will lead and develop a research team through a proprietary research process, including hypothesis generation, primary and secondary research, and root cause analysis. You will conduct surveys and phone interviews with executives, academics, and industry experts to identify their most pressing challenges and develop research products around them.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, and a Master's/PhD in a social science or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience conducting primary and secondary research utilizing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity to process and understand information quickly.
- Experience converting qualitative and quantitative information into clear frameworks, narratives, and visually compelling presentations for an executive audience.
- People and project management experience, with the ability to directly lead, develop, and motivate members of the Research team.
