We are seeking a highly skilled Case Underwriter to join our team at Allianz Partners. As a key member of our Underwriting team, you will be responsible for conducting case underwriting for our Appliance Protection and Digital Risks products, as well as our Easy Living affinity products.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Case Underwriting: Assess provided reference datasets, analyze them, and deliver completed quotations with detailed descriptions of cover and caveats to sales colleagues.
- Collaborate with Sales Colleagues: Work closely with sales colleagues to identify business opportunities and deliver high-quality underwriting services.
- Ensure Adherence to Underwriting Guidelines: Ensure that all underwriting activities are conducted in accordance with our Underwriting Guidelines.
- Collaborate with Actuarial Team: Work with the Actuarial Team to develop pricing models and ensure that our underwriting practices are aligned with our business objectives.
- Support Performance and Activities: Contribute to the performance and activities of other functions within the Line of Business, including Pricing and Portfolio Monitoring, and Product Management & Innovation.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree: Hold a minimum bachelor's degree in an analytical or financial subject.
- Business Level Fluency in English: Possess business level fluency in English.
- Experience in Risk Assessment and Management: Have experience in risk assessment and management, with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
- Strong Insurance Know-How: Possess strong insurance know-how and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.
- 4+ Years Experience: Have at least 4 years of experience in underwriting, actuarial, or pricing.
- Preferred Experience: Preferably have experience quoting for appliance protection covers.
