Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Global Underwriter for Appliance Protection and Digital Risks to join our team at Allianz Partners. As a key member of our Underwriting Unit, you will be responsible for conducting case underwriting for various products, including Appliance Protection, Digital Risks, and Easy Living Affinity Products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct case underwriting for Appliance Protection, Digital Risks, and Easy Living products
- Analyze provided reference datasets and deliver completed quotations with detailed descriptions of cover and caveats to sales colleagues
- Collaborate with sales colleagues on business opportunities and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines
- Work with the Actuarial Team on pricing and model development
- Contribute to the performance and activities of other functions within the Line of Business, such as Pricing and Portfolio Monitoring, and Product Management & Innovation
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in an analytical or financial subject
- Business-level fluency in English
- Experience in risk assessment and management, with a strong understanding of insurance principles
- 4+ years of experience in underwriting, actuarial, or pricing
