About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Designer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for our train control signalling system.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions for our train control signalling system
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop subsystem requirements and designs
- Implement software design, including unit tests to verify software correctness and completeness
- Coordinate peer reviews of software development artefacts
- Participate in peer reviews requested by others
Requirements
- B.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other engineering discipline
- 3-5 years' experience developing software
- Good knowledge in software development principles
- Good knowledge and experience in software implementation (.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++)
- Good knowledge of object-oriented design
- Experience working with the Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with software development tools such as.NET, VB6, Visual C++, Eclipse, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, DOORS, Jenkins
