Software Designer

At Alstom, we're passionate about creating innovative solutions for the rail industry. As a Software Designer (CBTC), you'll play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge train control signalling solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the design and development of software applications for train control signalling solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop subsystem requirements and designs.
- Implement software designs, including unit tests to ensure software correctness and completeness.
- Coordinate peer reviews of software development artefacts and participate in peer reviews requested by others.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the rail transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented design.
- Experience with software implementation languages such as.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++.
- Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Experience with software development tools like.NET, VB6, Visual C++, Eclipse, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, DOORS, and Jenkins.
