About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Designer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for our train control signalling system.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software components for our signalling system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development artefacts
  • Implement software designs, including unit tests to verify correctness and completeness
What We're Looking For

We value passion and attitude over experience. If you have a strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in software development, we'd love to hear from you.

Key skills include:

  • Good knowledge of software development principles
  • Experience with software implementation (.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++)
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented design
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in agile software development
  • Experience with software development tools such as.NET, VB6, Visual C++, Eclipse, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, DOORS, Jenkins
