About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Designer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for train control signaling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of software solutions for train control signaling systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop subsystem requirements and designs
- Implement software design, including unit tests to ensure software correctness and completeness
- Coordinate peer reviews of software development artifacts
- Participate in peer reviews requested by others
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the rail transportation industry
- Good knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented design
- Experience with software implementation languages such as.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++
- Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, DOORS, Jenkins
- Availability to work night shifts and weekends (occasionally)
- Occasional travel required, especially during project commissioning phase
