Collections Specialist With Native Level Of French

Job Summary
Talent Search People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Specialist with a native level of French to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient collection of payments from customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers to secure payments and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile open items with customer records and resolve any discrepancies
- Track and resolve customer payment discrepancies (deductions)
- Support the Credit Team in managing order release and controlling high-risk accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve AR-related issues
- Detect red flags on customer accounts to prevent potential loss
- Propose uncollectable debt write-offs, well-supported and analyzed
- Own the client portfolio and follow up with actions and escalations to resolve and prevent bad debt
- Achieve monthly personal and team collection targets around collections, bad debt, and deductions
- Prepare the litigation file for legal procedures
Requirements
- Native level of French
- Advanced level of English
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
- Good command of Excel
- Assertive, dynamic, and organized with a methodical approach
- Ability to handle a high volume of transactions (payment negotiations, disputes)
- Good interpersonal skills and a real team player
- Knowledge of ERPs (such as SAP, M3, or Dynamics365) is a plus
