Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our team at Totalenergies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and departments to ensure HSE compliance and provide guidance on HSE-related matters.
  • Review and approve HSE plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure they meet company and local requirements.
  • Implement and maintain OHSAS 45001 and corporate Maestro management system.
  • Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Ensure the availability and maintenance of safety equipment and supplies.
  • Collect and analyze HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of professional experience in HSE, with at least 5 years in a managing position.
  • International H&S qualification/certificates, environmental and security training is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish H&S legislation and applicable environmental standards.
  • Proven autonomy and ability to manage high-level workload and decision-making.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). French/other language knowledge is a plus.
