Job Summary:

Nordex Group is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead grid development projects within our Global Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing new development projects, ensuring budget, quality, and timeline adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new development projects focused on grid code activities across different Nordex portfolio platforms.
  • Process project scope with interdisciplinary project teams, including Engineering, Sales, Production, Logistics, Installation, and Service.
  • Evaluate project ideas and support up to approval.
  • Align project schedules and scopes across product platforms with other project managers.
  • Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development and escalate to relevant committees as needed.
  • Coordinate necessary resources with line and project managers.
  • Coordinate technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management.
  • Organize prototype tests and ramp-up activities in operation areas.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Project Management experience required, with PM certification preferred.
  • Several years of experience in the wind turbine industry, preferably in electrical and control functions.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, including MS Project Server.
  • Experience in an ERP and PLM system is advantageous.
  • Team worker with strong customer and solution-oriented skills, clear and structured communication and reporting skills, high quality awareness, and assertiveness.
  • Intercultural experience necessary.
  • Fluent in English, with beneficial skills in Spanish and German.
  • Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in the wind industry.
