Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-versed PMLS expert to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. As a key member of our ultra-ambitious team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers across Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide remote support to distributors' engineers and end-users.
  2. Offer internal technical support to service sales and operation departments.
  3. Deliver field service to end-users across Spain and Portugal.
  4. Manage designated service areas, promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals.
  5. Take a project management role for installations within assigned service territories and coordinate the installation of large orders if required.
  6. Complete all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time and to the levels outlined in the service manual.
  7. Assist sales and marketing teams with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts.
  8. Maintain tools and test equipment properly and liaise with the Service Supervisor/Manager to ensure they are calibrated.
  9. Maintain spare parts inventory, company vehicle, and other company equipment and supplies.
  10. Occasionally train clinical staff on designated equipment.
  11. Track and maintain both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them.
  12. Perform other tasks or responsibilities designated by the Field Service Supervisor, Spain.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in anaesthesia field service.
  2. Extensive knowledge of Defibrillators, Patient Monitors, and other medical device capital equipment.
  3. Experience of working in Spain without the need for company sponsorship.
  4. Experience of providing training on medical devices capital equipment.
  5. Highly customer-focused with a hunger to achieve more.
  6. Technically proficient in troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products.
  7. Evidence of emotional intelligence.
  8. Ability to address customer requests through strong listening skills.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships.
  10. Proven negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  11. Fluent in Spanish with a business-level in English.
