Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to lead the Release Management team in its growth and evolution to Developer Productivity Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team's backlog, prioritization, and management, as well as providing a satisfying developer experience that allows developers to enhance their efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Release Management team in its growth and evolution to Developer Productivity Engineering.
  • Manage the team's backlog, prioritization, and management.
  • Provide product development internal tooling and technical processes.
  • Manage Jenkins CI system used company-wide for both product/project-specific development.
  • Manage the product release process.
  • Manage GitLAB hosting (SaaS) used for code hosting and collaboration.
  • Manage the Issue tracker used for product development.
  • Manage/run several internal production and/or testing servers (Ubuntu LTS on AWS).

Requirements

  • MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • 1+ years experience in a team lead position.
  • 5+ years experience in release management and/or managing CI systems (preferably Jenkins).
  • 5+ years experience in Linux System Administration (Ubuntu Linux or similar).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Apache2, Git.
  • Experience with scripting (bash, python) is a plus.
  • Experience with Ansible is a plus.
  • Experience managing GitLab is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud is a plus.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English are a must.
  • Analytical thinking, detail-oriented.
  • Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.
