About the Role
Nordex Group is seeking a skilled professional to join our Blade Engineering-Operational Support Department as a Support Blade Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our Process and Quality teams to ensure design requirements are met and develop manufacturing documentation to support blade production plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Process/Quality/Production/Service teams and Blade Engineering.
- Provide technical support to blade manufacturing plants, both remotely and on-site.
- Support the Blade Change Management process.
- Develop engineering documentation tailored to the wind blade production process.
- Develop engineering documentation to facilitate quality checks.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or equivalent.
- At least 3 years' experience in wind blade/composite manufacturing.
- At least 3 years' experience in wind blade quality control.
- Added advantage (not a must):
- Experience in composite design (Structural/CAD).
- Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM software.
- Familiarity with NX design software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
- Blade manufacturing expertise.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the wind blade or composite industry.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Motivation to work in an international and multicultural team.
- Availability to travel.
