About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer Team Lead to join our team at Orisha | Openbravo. As a key member of our Developer Productivity Engineering Team, you will be responsible for leading the Release Management team and driving the growth and evolution of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Release Management team and its growth and evolution to Developer Productivity Engineering Team
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the team's backlog
  • Provide a satisfying developer experience through optimized development processes, tools, practices, and automation
  • Complete tasks more quickly, maintain high-quality code, and reduce the time it takes to deliver software products and updates
  • Manage Jenkins CI system, GitLab hosting, and issue tracker used for product development
  • Manage and run several internal production and/or testing servers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications
  • 1+ years of experience in a team lead position
  • 5+ years of experience in release management and/or managing CI systems (preferably Jenkins)
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Ubuntu Linux or similar)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Apache, Git, scripting (bash, python), and Ansible
  • Experience managing GitLab and AWS Cloud is a plus
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Analytical thinking, detail-oriented, initiative, flexibility, and adaptability
