Digital Banking Solutions Leader

We are seeking a skilled Digital Banking Solutions Leader to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital banking solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for driving digital transformation in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical team providing direction, mentorship, and support.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of digital banking platforms and applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on value.
  • Ensure the development team focuses on the most important tasks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital banking initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the technical team.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in building business-critical products and launching them on the market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills for leading teams and facilitating problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate updates concisely to leaders at all levels.
  • Skilled in executing strategic roadmaps across organizations to deliver planned results.
  • Strong ability to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams, think creatively, and act with agility.
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.

Western Union has determined the category of this role to be Hybrid. This is defined as a flexible working arrangement that enables employees to divide their time between working from home and working from an office location. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
