About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Distillates Trader to join our team at Cepsa Trading, S.A.U. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for navigating the dynamic Middle Distillates market, identifying profitable opportunities, and executing trading strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis and Trading: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize profitability and minimize risk.
  2. Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of Middle Distillates trades, ensuring that they align with our organizational goals and risk parameters.
  3. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  4. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market developments, trends, and regulations, providing valuable insights to inform trading decisions.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, mid- and back-office teams, to ensure seamless execution of trades and effective communication of market insights.
Requirements
  1. Commercial Experience: A minimum of a few years of experience in commercial negotiations, with a proven track record of successful trading results.
  2. Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Middle Distillates markets, including refining economics, market risks, and exposure.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and make informed trading decisions.
  4. Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills, such as Spanish, being advantageous.
