Job Title: Commercial Analyst

The Commercial Analyst role sits within NextEnergy Capital's Commercial team, focusing on regulatory and contractual aspects of renewable energy projects. This is a broad commercial role that requires a commercial, contractual, or legal background in renewables.

The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for managing assets in Chile, as well as supporting the wider NextEnergy Capital portfolio of assets across multiple countries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining solar plant compliance with contractual requirements
  • Managing property agreements and relationships with landowners
  • Managing project company contract renewals and tendering
  • Managing regulatory interface and compliance requirements
  • Managing insurance renewals and claims
  • Supporting Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) compliance and delivery
  • Supporting the company's in-house 'onboarding' process for new sites
  • Updating and developing the company's in-house Asset Management Platform (AMP) software
  • Supporting annual Asset Operating Plans with relevant contract management information and reviews

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English or other European languages
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to delve deep into topics
  • IT literacy and comfort with IT systems and data
  • Delivery focus and ability to proactively churn through work at pace
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar level role, with a Bachelor's degree and regulatory, property, and contract knowledge and experience. Advanced standard MS Office suite skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, are required.
