Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of NYU Madrid's academic mission and implementation, including relationships with academic partners and the Site Specific Advisory Committee (SSAC).
  • Responsibility for NYU students in Madrid, including academic performance, cultural immersion, co-curricular activities, safety, health, wellness, and behavioral matters.
  • Ensuring local compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilities management and government relations.
  • Crisis response and community engagement.
Requirements

This position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a strong academic background and leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. NYU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
