Job Summary

The Senior Territory Manager - Business Development will play a key role in driving sales growth and business development for Envista in the Canary Islands, Spain. This individual will be responsible for exploring sales opportunities, developing relationships with distribution partners, and cultivating leads to penetrate the market and generate additional sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned customers regularly to promote products, provide product information, and receive feedback on company products and services.
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with customers and achieve revenue growth in tender regions, DMU's, and affiliated orthodontic specialists.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Qualify potential customers as sales prospects for the corporation.
  • Understand and support the corporation's sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.
  • Relate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluation.
  • Follow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations.
  • Review and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective action to the Region Sales Manager.
  • Collect and report competitive information to Marketing Management.
  • Prepare periodic reports, including weekly call reports, weekly expense reports, and other reports as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strategic view on business development and proactive involvement in training peers and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in an unstructured work environment.
  • Experience operating in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English and native Spanish language communication skills, with additional language skills an asset.
  • Previous experience in the medical devices, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and CRM.
