Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Projects Engineer to join our team at Smiths Group Plc. This is a fixed-term contract position that will cover project activities in Spain and Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities from initial quotation to product delivery, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare comprehensive quotations and value proposals for key clients, studying customer technical specifications and ensuring required compliance.
- Monitor and control orders in progress, providing customers with information on progress and expected delivery times.
- Coordinate with various departments involved in contract execution, including customer quotations, supplier quotations, and technical data sheets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to maintain and increase business revenue in line with objectives.
Requirements
- Previous professional experience in a project management role within an engineering manufacturing company.
- Experience in providing commercial support to EPCs and/or rotating equipment markets is a plus.
- Engineering background or a similar technical qualification is preferred.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multifunctional and multinational colleagues.
