Job Title:

RAMS Engineer – Railway Projects

As we expand our capabilities, we are seeking a highly motivated RAMS Engineer to join the railway division of our Client.

You will play a crucial role in the analysis, design, and evaluation of system safety and reliability across various railway projects.

Position Overview:

The RAMS Engineer will be responsible for conducting and coordinating RAMS analyses for railway projects, ensuring the design and operation of the system meet safety, reliability, and performance requirements.

This role involves working closely with the specification and project analysis team to prepare tenders and proposals for railway clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct RAMS analyses in accordance with international railway standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN)
  • Evaluate system safety, reliability, and maintainability requirements based on project specifications.
  • Develop safety and reliability models and reports, including FMEA, FTA, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure RAMS requirements are integrated into system design and development processes.
  • Participate in the preparation of call for tenders by providing RAMS expertise and contributing to technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations for improving system performance and safety.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in RAMS engineering for railway systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on railway systems, safety, or systems engineering.

3 years of experience minimum in RAMS engineering, preferably in the railway industry.

Strong knowledge of RAMS methodologies, standards, and tools (FMEA, FTA, Hazard Analysis).

Experience with relevant railway safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN)

Ability to analyze complex systems and develop detailed safety and reliability assessments.

Experience in contributing to tenders and technical documentation for large-scale projects is a plus.

English proficiency is mandatory.
