About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Oil & Gas Team for the development of international industrial projects in our offices in Bilbao or Madrid. Responsibilities

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for leading and overseeing the process design activities and ensuring the delivery of the process design package (s) / engineering deliverables to meet the expected quality and standards. His/her tasks also include:

• Coordinate process design (process simulation, Heat and Material Balance, PFD, P&ID, Equipment Data Sheets, Instrument process data, hydraulic calculation, utility balance, line list, assistance to HAZOP sessions, assistance to P&ID Review, clarifications with suppliers, etc.)

• Coordinate Process Engineers and Junior Process Engineers

• Interdisciplinary support

• Planning

Requirements

To join IDOM, you will need to have:

• An accredited degree in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor, Master) or any related field

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry as Process Engineer (+10 years of experience is preferred)

• Basic and Detail Design experience

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Competent use of relevant software, such as MS Office Suite and process engineering specific software, such as process simulators and hydraulic calculations software (Hyssys, Aspen Plus, AFT Fathom/Arrow, etc.)
