At Danaher, we're committed to advancing and optimizing the laboratory to drive scientific and healthcare progress. We're seeking a talented Pricing and Profitability Optimization Specialist to join our team.
This role is a key part of our Pricing, Contracts Governance and Compliance Team, reporting to the Director - Customer Service, Pricing, Contracts Governance & Compliance. As a Pricing and Profitability Optimization Specialist, you'll be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and implementing pricing strategies and initiatives across our product portfolio in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a pricing strategy to maximize profitability, aligning with business objectives and customer needs
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions
- Monitor and evaluate pricing performance at a Country, Customer, and contract level, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making and analysis
- Analyze sales deals to validate profitability data and calculations before signing a contract
- Contribute to and lead margin optimization initiatives in alignment with the Finance Director and key stakeholders of the commercial teams
- Create a Profitability Playbook to enable profitable and sustainable growth in Europe
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to generate insights and recommendations on pricing effectiveness and profitability
Requirements:
- Several years of international experience in pricing, revenue management, or related roles
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights
- Experience with pricing analytics and modeling techniques: data analysis and manipulation using data analytics tools
- Experience in Change Management
- Fluent English in written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare or medical devices industry
- Addressing the differences between private-public environment and direct-indirect sales models
