The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Operations Partner to join our dynamic team at commercetools. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the operational and administrative HR processes for our Spanish entity and collaborating with other global entities.

Your Mission:
  • Act as the primary HR contact for Spanish employees, providing exceptional support and guidance.
  • Prepare payroll for the Spanish entity and collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Administer and collaborate with our benefit providers to ensure compliance and optimal benefits for employees.
  • Support the administration and management of our Employer of Record employees, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
  • Assist with operational HR processes for other commercetools entities as needed, providing expertise and support.
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle all aspects of employee administration, including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
  • Work closely with the People Operations team to support various HR initiatives and projects across the organization, fostering collaboration and driving results.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Good knowledge of Spanish labor and social security laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Experience in performing or assisting with payroll preparation in Spain, with a strong understanding of the complexities involved.
  • Strong focus on providing excellent service to employees, with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively, with a high level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written, is essential for this role, with a high level of proficiency and a strong command of both languages.

  • Global HR experience, with a strong understanding of international HR practices and regulations.
  • Additional language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
