We are seeking a People Operations Partner based in Valencia, Spain, to join our dynamic team. As our People Operations Partner, you will be responsible for our Spanish entity and assist with other global entities, contributing significantly to our operational and administrative HR processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary HR contact for Spanish employees, providing exceptional support and guidance.
  • Prepare payroll for the Spanish entity and collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer and collaborate with our benefit providers to ensure seamless employee experiences.
  • Support the administration and management of our Employer of Record employees, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
  • Assist with operational HR processes for other commercetools entities as needed, providing expertise and support.
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle all aspects of employee administration, including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
  • Work closely with the People Operations team to support various HR initiatives and projects across the organization, fostering collaboration and innovation.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good knowledge of Spanish labor and social security laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  • Experience in performing or assisting with payroll preparation in Spain, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • A strong focus on providing excellent service to employees, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively, with a high level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels, with fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have:

  • Additional language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
