People Operations Specialist

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Operations Partner to join our dynamic team at commercetools. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Spanish entity and contributing to the development of our global HR processes.
Your Mission:
- Act as the primary HR contact for Spanish employees, providing exceptional support and guidance.
- Prepare and manage payroll for the Spanish entity, collaborating with external providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Administer and collaborate with benefit providers to ensure seamless delivery of employee benefits.
- Support the administration and management of Employer of Record employees, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
- Assist with operational HR processes for other commercetools entities as needed, providing expertise and guidance.
- Ensure HR policies and processes are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle all aspects of employee administration, including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
- Work closely with the People Operations team to support various HR initiatives and projects across the organization, providing a collaborative and proactive approach.
What you need to succeed:
- Good knowledge of Spanish labor and social security laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
- Experience in performing or assisting with payroll preparation in Spain, with a strong understanding of the relevant regulations and procedures.
- Strong focus on providing excellent service to employees, with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively, with a high level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks, with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels, with a high level of fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
