We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our IP One Data team at Clarivate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our data-driven service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop innovative data pipelines to process large amounts of data using Python and ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Create and maintain technical designs and data structures to support our expanding APIs and microservices.
- Drive code review, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with global product and development teams to design and develop data-driven solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- 2+ years of experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, Lambda).
- 3+ years of experience programming using Python, PHP for data development.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
- 2+ years working on an Agile development team.
- 2+ years leading projects driving them to completion.
- 2+ years of experience with data pipelines / ETL.
- 2+ years of experience with SqlAlchemy, Pytest, Requests, Bash scripting.
- Experience with Sphinx/Manticore indexes.
- 30 working days of vacation.
