We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead our IP One Data team in designing and developing robust and growing data-driven service portfolios. This role involves creating innovative solutions to collect, clean, validate, aggregate, and index IP data, leveraging the latest in serverless technologies.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent contract (40 hours per week with flexibility) with a hybrid model (2-3 days per week working from our Barcelona Office). The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working in Unix/Linux environments, 2+ years of experience using Docker and Kubernetes, and 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, Lambda).

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain Python code to develop ETL processes to process large amounts of data.
  • Create innovative solutions to collect, clean, validate, aggregate, and index IP data.
  • Develop and implement technical designs and data structures.
  • Drive code review, test, and deployment processes.
  • Work and coordinate development activities with teams in various locations.

About the Team

We are a geo-diverse team of ten data software engineers that work together with our product team and integration partners to design and develop and support our robust and growing data-driven service portfolio.
