We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Specialist to join our team at UPS. As a key member of our Customs department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across borders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with customs regulations and procedures.
- Monitor and audit customs-related processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with customs news and regulations, providing expert guidance to the management team.
- Contribute to the development of customs-related policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Law or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Experience in customs regulations and foreign trade is highly valued.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
- High level of English proficiency is essential.
- User-level computer knowledge is required.
- Availability to work standard business hours with flexibility to adjust as needed.
