Job Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the construction of advanced manufacturing facilities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to drive projects to achieve an excellent outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and present cost plans, including estimating and cost planning.
  2. Manage the tendering and procurement process, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and contractual document compilation.
  3. Oversee post-contract cost variances and change control processes, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.
  4. Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients.
  5. Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts.
  6. Interface with clients and other consultants throughout project stages.
Requirements

Experience in construction, industrial, battery, semi-conductors, pharma, and/or manufacturing sectors is essential. Knowledge of MEP and clean/dry rooms is an advantage. A degree in engineering, construction management, or quantity surveying is required. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, and fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is also required.
