About the Role

Turner & Townsend Group is seeking an experienced Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the construction of advanced manufacturing facilities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to deliver high-value, complex projects in the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, and compiling the contractual documents.
  • Dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Producing monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
  • Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Requirements
  • Experience in construction, industrial, battery, semi-conductors, pharma, and/or manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of MEP and clean/dry rooms is an advantage.
  • Degree qualified in one of the following fields: engineering (construction related), construction management, or quantity surveying.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
