About the role:
We are seeking a server to join our pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor. This position is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team, dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.
The server position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience, conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness. The responsibilities of the position include:
- Taking orders for, serving (where applicable, preparing) food and beverages to guests as per standards in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
- Having knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Anticipating guest needs, offering suggestions, and ascertaining satisfaction.
- Taking ownership of guest concerns and requests and acting decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when glitches occur.
- Accurately posting guest checks, processing payments, and adhering to related control procedures in a vigilant manner.
- Breakdown, cleaning, and setting up of tables, buffets, and food stations as well as the back-of-house areas.
- Preparing and serving food and beverage items as indicated in the Standards Training Manual.
