Position Overview
Primary Function: The EMEA Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll processes for employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This includes collecting and validating employee data, addressing payroll inquiries, and coordinating with internal finance teams.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the entire payroll process for international employees, guaranteeing accuracy, speed, and adherence to regulations
• Gather and verify employee information, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, compensation, deductions, and tax withholdings
• Support implementation of a new global payroll vendor, providing standard methodologies and assisting in discovery sessions with key partners
• Review and validate payroll inputs, such as employee data, timesheets, benefits, and deductions, for precision and regulatory compliance
• Manage payroll data integrity and maintain accurate employee records in accordance with data protection regulations
• Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payroll-related issues
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in global payroll management, as well as legal requirements
• Explore opportunities to simplify and automate processes to achieve maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and document procedural improvements, potentially leading to training delivery on payroll-related topics

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of international payroll experience is required, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines, utilizing automated payroll systems and third-party providers. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential when handling sensitive employee information. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
