About the Role

Almirall is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Professional to join our team as an IT Business Process Manager. This is a key role that will play a critical part in transforming our Industrial laboratories and the utilization of lab instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Owner of IT systems assigned to the role, responsible for analyzing the organization and designing technical systems and processes.
  • Supports business management in designing business models and strategic business needs, maximizing the value of IT solutions.
  • Defines the way IT systems will support business processes, ensuring applications work efficiently and meet performance expectations.
  • Provides technical support to laboratory staff, addressing issues related to software, hardware, and instrument interfaces.
  • Stays updated on the latest technologies and trends in laboratory informatics to recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business objectives, ensuring technology investments deliver maximum value.
  • Trains and guides laboratory personnel in the use of IT systems and tools to enhance productivity and data quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing projects with high impact across the 6 change dimensions (process, organization, location, data, application, technology).
  • Experience in IT application development, process design, and exposure to commercial business areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading big implementations and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and instrument software.
  • Deep understanding of industrial activity in life science and GXP procedures.
  • Experience using Jira Software for demand and project management.
  • Agile & Scrum certifications are a plus.
  • Languages: Spanish and English proficiency.
