This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future of mobility in Barcelona. You will be responsible for:
- Hiring, Training, and Coaching: Lead the recruitment, training, and development of Mechanics and Fleet Support positions responsible for deploying and retrieving shared electric vehicles.
- Warehouse Operations: Establish a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment that supplies a fully operational fleet of vehicles for Barcelona.
- Process Improvement: Define new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence within the warehouse.
- Project Management: Partner cross-functionally on operations projects to identify expansion opportunities within the region.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the profitability, revenue, and operational performance of the market.
- Customer Support: Provide complaint management and customer incident investigation support.
- Government Relations: Partner with the local Government Relations representative to manage key legal, regulatory, and safety issues.
- Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships between customers, regulators, city officials, employees, and company management.
- Collaboration: Work with Engineering and Product teams to drive local initiatives for revenue growth.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Professional Experience: 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in an Operations position.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading teams or groups is preferred.
- Regional Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with the Barcelona region and ability to anticipate operational needs and challenges within this area.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Grit and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
- Decision-Making: High-energy and sound decision maker with the ability to make data-driven decisions with a cost-focused mindset.
- Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish language skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to navigate and draw inference from data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
